Maintenance Manager

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations at their facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of all machinery, equipment, and infrastructure, while managing a team of maintenance staff and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities :

Plan, coordinate and oversee all maintenance activities in the facility.

Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.

Manage a team of technicians and maintenance personnel, ensuring high performance and continuous development.

Monitor and control maintenance budgets and expenditures.

Liaise with other departments to ensure maintenance needs are addressed promptly.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Maintain records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspections.

Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.

Manage relationships with external contractors and service providers.

Respond to emergency maintenance issues to minimise downtime.

Qualifications :

A diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.

At least 5 years of experience in a maintenance management role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Proven experience in managing maintenance budgets and teams.

Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.

Proficiency in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
