As our Manufacturing Performance Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our facility’s operational excellence. You’ll lead maintenance and engineering efforts, oversee continuous improvement projects, and ensure our production lines run safely and efficiently.

Your Day-to-Day:

o As the Manufacturing Performance Manager, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our facility runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Daily Operational Engagement. Participate in daily operations meetings and plant walkthroughs, including Gemba walks and structured problem-solving sessions to support schedule attainment and execution.
  • Facility & Equipment Oversight
    Lead all mechanical, electrical, and facility system maintenance. Oversee repairs and improvements performed by internal teams and external contractors.
  • Preventive Maintenance (PM) Leadership
    Develop, schedule, and ensure completion of all PM activities. Continuously improve PM frequencies to optimize production line uptime. Coordinate downtime with Production, Scheduling, and Planning teams.
  • Parts & Inventory Management
    Manage procurement of parts, maintain spare parts inventory, and ensure adequate consumables are available for maintenance operations.
  • Project & Contractor Management
    Scope and manage facility maintenance projects, PM initiatives, and capital improvements. Coordinate with outside contractors to ensure timely and quality execution.
  • Capital Planning Participation
    Collaborate with the Operations Manager and leadership team in capital project planning and execution.
  • Training & Support
    • Lead onboarding and training for new maintenance employees
    • Support production supervisors and leads on new or modified equipment
  • Compliance & Safety
    Ensure maintenance staff adhere to GMPs and all plant safety protocols. Promote a culture of safety and accountability.
  • Continuous Improvement & Expansion
    Manage improvement projects, line expansions, and equipment upgrades. Research and evaluate new technologies, obtain quotes, and oversee implementation with contractors.

What You Bring:

  • Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and MS Project (or similar tools)
  • Experience leading maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to lift 60 lbs, work at heights, and support multiple shifts as needed
  • A proactive mindset and a passion for continuous improvement

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Direct supervision of all maintenance personnel across all shifts
  • Oversight of the Continuous Improvement Engineer

Work Schedule

Must be willing to work/support 1st, 2nd, and/or 3rd shifts, as needed to properly support all plant requirements
