Job summary

Pronel Personnel seeks an experienced maintenance leader to drive the maintenance department across mechanical and electrical teams. You will develop proactive maintenance programmes, optimise furnaces and related equipment, and minimise downtime with strong planning and root-cause analysis.

You will manage budgets, parts inventory, and contractor performance, ensuring adherence to health, safety, environmental and quality standards while mentoring staff to achieve department goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the maintenance department, including mechanical and electrical teams.
• Develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance programmes.
• Ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of furnaces and associated equipment.
• Minimise downtime through effective planning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and contractor performance.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve plant reliability and maintenance practices.
• Coordinate planned shutdowns and maintenance projects.
• Monitor equipment performance and implement corrective actions where required.
• Mentor and develop maintenance personnel to achieve departmental objectives.
