Are you a seasoned Maintenance Engineering Manager with a track record of optimizing operations and leading teams in the manufacturing sector? We're looking for a proactive leader to spearhead our maintenance strategies and ensure seamless production processes.

POSITION INFO : About the role :

The Maintenance Manager shall ensure effective and safe management of all maintenance (asset care) processes, including the utilisation and management of the resources related to these processes in accordance with legal requirements. These resources would include human resources, budget resources, available time, processes, and technical information, etc. Ultimately, through this focus, the role will support the organisation in ensuring the required levels of asset availability through the execution of the defined maintenance strategies.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the maintenance team in optimizing equipment reliability and minimizing downtime through effective maintenance strategies.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance equipment performance and longevity.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement initiatives and achieve operational efficiencies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Experience in the management of the following core engineering processes.
  • Ensuring the execution compliance of maintenance activities against the defined maintenance strategies. Further to this, engagement with Production Teams to realise the most effective balance of work week compliance and plant output.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • BSc or B.Eng in , Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in maintenance engineering management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate a diverse team.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management systems (CMMS) and knowledge of industry best practices.
  • A minimum of 5 years within the maintenance / engineering function in a heavy-industry environment – pulp and paper, steel processing, mining, etc.
  • A minimum of 3 years in the role of maintenance management or in a senior engineering discipline role within this environment – preference given to experience in the management of engineering.
