RESPONSIBILITIES
- Directing and coordinating the maintenance and manufacturing engineer resources to ensure optimum capital utilization and project launches, as well as production transfers from other group plants or suppliers within the plant. May be responsible for the country as well
- Direct the manufacturing engineers/ process specialists in defining technical specifications for new equipment and alterations on existing equipment and facilities, including leading the project launches and production transfers
- Direct and coordinate both repair and preventative maintenance requirements for all equipment in the plant
- Support continuous improvement efforts: propose and implement continuous productivity, efficiency and quality improvement actions for the facility
- Support the development of target material and information flow analysis (MIFA) and plant layout
- Develop capital budget requirements to adhere to established facility standards
- Define and monitor quality, cost and delivery objectives given to external companies when intervening: subcontracting, ordinary and major maintenance actions, energy, security systems
- Direct the management of spare parts and consumables warehouses for the plant
- Recommend safety policies and ensure safety/ legal controls are tested and reliable
- Responsible for the computer-aided maintenance management system for the plant
- Ensure the continuous development and coaching of the maintenance and manufacturing engineering team
- Direct plant manufacturing engineering standard applications and strategic intent
