Job summary

Bright Placements (PTY) Ltd seeks a maintenance manager for lodges and hospitality sites in Limpopo. You will oversee maintenance programs, mentor a small team, and ensure reliable operation of solar, boreholes, water and electrical systems in a remote bush environment.

The role requires a technical diploma, 5+ years in maintenance management, leadership, budgeting, and the ability to work independently in challenging outdoor conditions. Valid driver's license preferred.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or trade qualification in electrical, plumbing, mechanical or building maintenance.
• Health & Safety certification beneficial.
• Minimum 5 years in maintenance management (lodges/hospitality).
• Experience with off-grid systems (solar, generators, boreholes).
• Experience leading a small team.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a maintenance management role (preferably at a game lodge, reserve, or hospitality environment).
  • Strong background in Solar, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical work.
  • Previous experience with lodge infrastructure, off-grid systems (solar, generators, boreholes), and road/fence maintenance.
  • Experience managing and mentoring a small team.
