A leading FMCG company based in Johannesburg seeks a dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the Bakery maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years’ experience in an Artisan position and 2-3 years in a foreman role. Responsibilities include ensuring optimal asset management, a high performance culture, and compliance with safety standards. This role requires availability on weekends and public holidays as needed.

Purpose of the job

To lead and supervise the Bakery maintenance team responsible for asset care through preventative and corrective maintenance on site according to Premier quality and safety standards. (The Premier way).

Responsibilities

• To ensure optimal plant asset management
• Ensure high performance culture in the maintenance team
• To ensure full statutory and regulatory compliance to all health and safety and food safety requirements
• To ensure continuous improvement of the maintenance process and function
• To complete training and development and stand in for the Maintenance manager as needed to build capacity in the succession pipeline for this role.
