About the Role

As a Maintenance Executive at Moove, you will be an integral part of our operations, ensuring the optimal functioning and upkeep of our assets. Your role will involve overseeing maintenance schedules, conducting inspections, and coordinating repairs to guarantee the safety and reliability of our equipment and facilities. Collaborating with a dedicated team, you will contribute to the seamless operation of our services, upholding Moove's standards of efficiency and quality. This position offers an opportunity to showcase your technical expertise while playing a key role in maintaining our commitment to excellence.

What You’ll be Doing

  1. Coordinate, schedule, and audit vehicle maintenance repairs, to include preventative, mechanical, and electrical repairs to the fleet.
  2. Take calls from suppliers seeking authorisation to conduct maintenance and repairs.
  3. Scrutinise supplier quotes to ensure optimal pricing in each market and ensure that maintenance being done is valid and appropriate.
  4. Ensure quality, compliance, and safety of Moove's assets.
  5. Control and monitor repair costs (parts and labour) in line with the maintenance fund.
  6. Negotiate goodwill claims from OEM for repairs that are just outside of the warranty parameters.
  7. Ensure 100% claims are captured on BYNX every day.
  8. Process Maintenance claims in line with Policy requirements and report on them effectively as and when required.
  9. Ensure that all Maintenance claims are completed expediently, and vehicles brought back to operation in the minimum timeframe.
  10. Build, manage, measure, and maintain relationships with suppliers and repair outlets to ensure that uptime of Fleet is maximised.
  11. Continuous Improvement mindset with respect to processes and systems to create efficiencies and synergies.
  12. Ad hoc investigations and solutions as required from time to time.
  13. Carry out required vehicle condition reports, capture reports on BYNX and arrange repairs for any mechanical problems noted or escalate to CIM department for any accident or incident related claims.

What You will need for this position

  1. Candidate must possess a High School Certificate.
  2. 5 years of fleet maintenance call centre experience is a must.
  3. Associates or Technical degree in Motor Mechanics would be advantageous.
  4. Hands-On Fleet Industry Experience is a must.
  5. Strong customer service and organisational skills required.
  6. Attention to detail is compulsory.
  7. Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office; Google Office Suite and web-based applications preferred.

Key Metrics

  1. Time bound fleet inspection and report generation as per plan checklist (Only if in our Parking lot).
  2. Projection preparation for repairs (Tyres, Suspension, aesthetic, electricals & Battery).
  3. Collation of all data and aligned team to resolve issues Timely closure of Repair complaints.
  4. Handle team of On Road support.
  5. Workshop overview coordination for Issue vehicle or stock in WS more than 4 days.
  6. Guidance / decision for insurance claim vs repairs.
  7. Guidance / decision for insurance claim vs repairs if claim then Claim Intimation documentation, Workshop visits.
  8. Coordination with workshop/Surveyor on daily status.
  9. Completing technical failure reports.
  10. Daily report on claims and VOR.

Directly reporting to our Maintenance Manager, and closely working with our Operations Team.
