Job summary

Pegasus in Vereeniging is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join the team. You will develop and implement a maintenance strategy for heavy plant machinery in a manufacturing environment, ensuring reliability and uptime.

You will coordinate root cause analysis for breakdowns and ensure spare parts and consumables are stocked to avoid downtime. The role requires a mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering qualification and 2–5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or National Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience with heavy plant machinery or manufacturing facilities.
