About the Role

This critical role will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of all manufacturing machinery and equipment. You will develop and implement proactive maintenance strategies, conduct repairs, and manage maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all production equipment.
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Conduct timely and effective repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders, repair histories, and parts inventory.
• Manage the maintenance workshop and ensure availability of necessary tools and spare parts.
• Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental policies.
• Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades and process improvements.
• Train junior maintenance staff and operators on equipment operation and basic maintenance.
• Oversee external contractors performing maintenance or installation work.
• Stay current with new maintenance technologies and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software.
