Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in South Africa is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in the manufacturing industry, hold a Qualified Electrical Artisan certificate, and possess strong skills in PLC Programming and troubleshooting. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly rate, with the opportunity for negotiation based on experience. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and own transport.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Maintenance Electrician in the Manufacturing Industry.
• Wireman's Licence and MV Switching Procedure experience advantageous.
• Proficient in PLC Programming, Fault Finding, and Electrical Installations.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with SHE Policies and Requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues.

Minimum Requirements :

1. Must have a minimum of 2 years experience as a Maintenance Electrician in the Manufacturing Industry
2. Qualified Electrical Artisan is essential
3. Wireman's Licence and MV Switching Procedure experience will be advantageous
4. Proficient in PLC Programming and Fault Finding, Panel Wiring, CNC Machine Tools, AC Drive Programming, Electrical Installations, and Induction Furnaces is essential
5. Strong knowledge of SHE Policies and Requirements will be beneficial
6. Valid Drivers License and own Transport required

Salary Structure :

• Basic Salary of up to R 140 per hour, negotiable based on experience
