Job description

Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions is a global leading supplier of equipment, tools, parts, services, and technical solutions for the mining and construction industries. Our applications include rock drilling, rock cutting, loading, hauling, tunneling, and quarrying. We focus on delivering value to customers through high-performing products that increase productivity and safety, along with services and flexible maintenance programs that extend uptime and reduce costs.

The Role

The successful candidate will coordinate, plan, execute, and follow up on maintenance and logistics to ensure the effective operation of Performance Contracts. This involves managing recovered costs, HR administration, scheduled maintenance, and customer relations.

Key Performance Areas
  1. Schedule work according to operational requirements and manage accommodation needs.
  2. Update CRM data, track deviations and trends, and maintain accurate labor management reports.
  3. Promptly address complaints, suggestions, and invoice queries.
  4. Provide regular feedback and reports to internal and external clients.
  5. Ensure data integrity, update internal systems, and report anomalies with insights.
  6. Confirm rate adjustments, process requisitions, and validate invoices.
  7. Generate operational and damage invoices accurately and on time.
  8. Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring adherence to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards.
  9. Ensure timely and accurate recording of employee timesheets.
  10. Ensure all employees complete required inductions and medical examinations.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Trade Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical and Millwright (advantageous).
  • Certificate/diploma/degree in business management (advantageous).
  • Project Management Certificate (advantageous).
  • At least 2 years of Maintenance Management Systems experience, with a focus on maintenance planning.
  • 3 years of planning or coordinating experience.
  • Advanced computer literacy.
  • Trackless mining experience (advantageous).
