Job description

Requirements :

  • 3+ years of proven experience as a Maintenance Coordinator.
  • Valid South African Passport.

  • Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
  • Additional courses in Maintenance Planning and Scheduling, Asset Management, CMMS Training, Health and Safety (e.g., NOSA, NEBOSH), Project Management (e.g., PRINCE2, CAPM), or Supervisory/Leadership training are advantageous.
  • Strong organizational and scheduling skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
  • Willing to relocate to the Middle East.

Responsibilities :

  • Schedule and oversee maintenance tasks to ensure proper servicing and operation of equipment and facilities.
  • Plan, prioritize, and coordinate preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities.
  • Assign tasks to maintenance staff and ensure timely completion of work orders.
  • Monitor maintenance requests and track progress using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, equipment history, and compliance documentation.
  • Liaise with internal departments, contractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient service and minimal downtime.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations during maintenance operations.
  • Track inventory of tools, spare parts, and supplies; initiate procurement when necessary.
  • Monitor equipment performance and support asset management strategies, including replacements or upgrades.
  • Assist in maintenance budgeting and cost control.
  • Conduct routine inspections and audits to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Support and train maintenance staff in procedures, documentation, and safety practices.
