Job description

Are you an experienced Maintenance Assistant with a passion for keeping things running smoothly? If you have 2 to 3 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment, a Matric certificate , general electrical knowledge , and welding skills , we want to hear from you!

What We Offer :

• Salary : R12,500 per month (Three-month contract, with possibility of going permanent )
• Opportunity to Grow : Work alongside the Maintenance Manager to ensure the facilities and machinery operate at its best.

Your Role :

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in :

• Improving and maintaining machinery efficiency
• Performing facility maintenance
• Planning and overseeing repair and installation activities
• Keeping maintenance logs and reporting daily activities
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety policies

Minimum Requirements :

• Completed Trade Test in Millwright / Electrician - would be beneficial
• General electrical knowledge
• Welding experience
• 3 years of working experience in a maintenance capacity
• Valid driver’s license and own transport
