To safely carry out preventive maintenance and repairs on Trackless Mobile Machinery in line with documented work instructions.

- Isolate and lockout with relevant documents.
- Assess and respond to related risks in working areas.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Never hand over equipment that is inappropriately maintained.
- Always receive authorization via a work order before performing tasks.
- Perform tasks as outlined in the Work Order and detailed Task List.
- Capture history and complete notifications to the required standard.
- Confirm Work Order details, including time, accurately.
- Provide feedback to the Maintenance Supervisor on any discrepancies or issues.
- Inform the Maintenance Supervisor of any unavailable spares, equipment, or other factors.
- Report deviations observed during inspections.
- Conduct fault-finding on hydraulic systems, internal combustion engines, transmissions, and drive lines.
- Perform basic fault-finding on electric circulation under 24V.
- Use judgment to assess and conduct own maintenance on machines.
- Assist in tyre changes.
- Perform isolation and issue lockout documents.
- Attend to breakdowns promptly and safely.
- Document all data related to stoppages for root cause analysis.
- Suggest improvements for breakdown handling to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Change out items as needed.
- Create PM orders and reservations for rotables from stock.
- Create subsequent notifications.
- Complete all fields on the “Damage” tag when returning items to the rotable store.
- Transport damaged rotables to the lay-down area.
