Job summary

A food manufacturing company in Johannesburg seeks a Shopware System Administrator responsible for planning maintenance schedules and optimizing them based on reliability trends. Ideal candidates will have a Senior Certificate and Engineering qualifications. Strong interpersonal skills and knowledge of food safety are essential for this role. Job description

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Shopware System Administrator.
  • Maintaining planned maintenance schedules.
  • Planning of daily, weekly, monthly and weekend work with Plant Engineer for maintenance team.
  • Complete special projects as assigned by the Plant Engineer, and all other duties as assigned.
  • Updating and reviewing planned maintenance schedules on a quarterly basis.
  • Optimizing planned maintenance schedules through monitoring graph or reliability trends on shopware.
  • Capturing inputs on shopware for daily, weekly and monthly work.
  • Update all statutory maintenance and linking to Shopware (SOP).
  • Preparation of Audits by internal, external stakeholders, e.g. IBL, FSC 22000).
  • Preparing summarized reports and data trends (Daily, Weekly and Monthly).
  • Assisting with the formulation of a new procedures and updating procedures in line with engineering work (FSC 22000 Compliance).
  • Updating new schedules based on new equipment introduction (used of trigger sheet).
  • General administration of team working hours, overtime and leave.
  • Conduct regular meetings with maintenance team to ensure that planned maintenance schedules /uptime /statutory targets are being met.
  • Planning and scheduling of all job cards in collaboration with all requests from production and technical.
  • Approve all completed job cards on the system.
  • Ensure that all the manual, drawing, service record, job cards, of all the equipment are being stored and readily available.
  • Participate and support Company's food safety and quality objectives.
  • Report all problems with regards to Food Safety to the QA Manager who will initiate and records actions.
