What You'll Be Owning

Full lifecycle management of DB2 and IDMS databases on the z / OS platform.

Performance tuning and optimization.

Issue resolution for database incidents.

Executing upgrades, patches, and maintenance.

Disaster recovery planning and simulations.

Database design and architecture best practices.

Incident, change, and request management.

Security controls and data integrity.

Utilization and capacity reporting.

Vendor and service partner collaboration.

The Toolbox You Bring

Expertise in z / OS operations and environments.

Deep knowledge of IDMS and DB2 for z / OS.

Proficiency with JCL, IBM utilities, SPUFI, DB2 Admin, and DMLO.

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

What We're Looking For

IT Degree or relevant certification.

Minimum 8 years in IT, with 5+ years as a Mainframe DBA.

4+ years with IDMS and DB2 databases.

Experience in Disaster Recovery exercises.

Understanding of mainframe OS concepts and enterprise environments.
