Global Forwarding Freight – South Africa has an opening for a Machinist where you will support in manufacturing of Vinliners. Produce each article of the right quality, material handling, ground activities including movement, storage and packaging of materials. Adhere to corporate guidelines and policies. In this Machinist position

• You will comply with all safety measures.
• You will ensure that daily and hourly targets is met.
• You will ensure documents is updated.
• You will ensure that the next processes have sufficient work.
• You will report to team leader any machine breakdowns.
• You will also assist in other areas if/or when required.
• You will uphold housekeeping at their workstation.
• You will adhere to company’s rules and regulations.
• You will follow company’s policies.
• You will ensure of wearing the proper PPE.
• You will ensure that all firefighting equipment is in working condition.
• You will attend all training to combat fires.
• You will ensure not to endanger yourself and fellow employees in an event of fire.
• You will ensure to prevent and protect and notify the authorities when fire occurs.

Now, here’s what we need from you

• Must have a Matric
• Anyone of the following qualification, Vocational / Specialized / Technical / Certification
• 2 years or less of experience in working in a warehouse environment
