Global Forwarding Freight – South Africa has an opening for a Machinist where you will support in manufacturing of Vinliners.

Your responsibilities include producing articles of the right quality, handling materials, and managing ground activities including movement, storage, and packaging of materials.

You will adhere to corporate guidelines and policies, ensure safety measures are followed, meet daily and hourly targets, keep documentation updated, and ensure the next processes have sufficient work.

You will report machine breakdowns to the team leader, assist in other areas as required, uphold housekeeping standards, and follow company rules and policies.

Proper PPE must be worn, firefighting equipment checked regularly, and all safety training attended. You will also be responsible for preventing and responding to fire emergencies, including notifying authorities when necessary.

The ideal candidate must have a Matric qualification and any of the following: Vocational, Specialized, Technical, or Certification. Experience in a warehouse environment of 2 years or less is preferred.
