Job summary

Buraaq Mining in Benoni, Gauteng, is seeking a skilled Machinist to join our workshop team. You will operate and maintain conventional and CNC machines to produce mining components, read engineering drawings, and ensure tight tolerances.

The ideal candidate holds a Trade Test Certificate as a Machinist, has 3–5 years' machining experience (mining/engineering environment advantageous), and demonstrates strong teamwork, quality control, and safety adherence in line with ISO 9001 and our Zero Harm

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain conventional and CNC machines.
• Manufacture, repair, and refurbish parts from drawings.

• Support rebuilding and repair projects with engineers and technicians.

• Assist in R&D to improve processes.
