Job description

We are seeking dedicated Machine Operators to join our plastic and injection moulding manufacturing team. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating injection moulding machines, monitoring production quality, and ensuring efficient manufacturing processes in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate injection moulding machines according to production schedules
• Monitor machine performance and production output continuously
• Conduct quality checks on finished products and identify defects
• Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning tasks
• Load raw materials and remove finished products from machines
• Adjust machine settings under supervision when required
• Report machine faults and production issues to supervisors
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation
• Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Support changeover activities and machine setup processes
• Collaborate with team members and shift supervisors
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience in manufacturing or production environment preferred
• Basic understanding of injection moulding processes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
• Willingness to work shifts including nights and weekends
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills
