Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Operator for a company in the north of JHB. You will have a proven track record in the steel industry and a strong understanding of machine operation and maintenance.

POSITION INFO :

Minimum Requirements :

• Grade 12
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the steel industry
• Prior experience in operating and maintaining machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Certification in machine operation or mechanical maintenance is preferred
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures in a steel manufacturing environment
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Clear criminal and credit record

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Operate and maintain machinery in a manufacturing environment to ensure optimal production efficiency.
• Adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
