Job summary

Craven Cottage CC, based in Cape Town, seeks an experienced inbound travel consultant to craft luxury itineraries for high-end clients. You will manage the full booking cycle, liaise with lodges and DMCs, and ensure profitable, flawless travel arrangements across Southern Africa.

The role requires 3–5 years in inbound travel, a travel qualification, and strong systems skills to deliver exceptional service under pressure in a luxury market.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in inbound travel, ideally with a DMC or luxury tour operator.
• Formal travel and tourism qualification is required.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in booking systems and itinerary software (Tourplan IWetu).
• Strong interpersonal skills and client-facing experience.
• Ability to resolve issues and manage logistical challenges under pressure.
• In-depth knowledge of Southern and East Africa regions.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed, personalized, and cost-effective itineraries for high-end clients.
• Manage from enquiry to post-travel follow-up, including documentation.
• Liaise with lodges, hotels, and DMCs to confirm availability and negotiate rates.
• Drive sales growth while maintaining gross profit margins.
• Ensure accuracy of travel documents, flights, transfers and accommodation.
• Maintain expert knowledge of destinations and product offerings.
