Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Architectural Technology or related field.
• Minimum 5 years as Architectural Technician.
• Experience in luxury residential projects.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Knowledge of SA building codes and standards.
• Portfolio of detailed residential drawings required.
• Experience with NBS software is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and specifications for high-end residential projects.
• Translate conceptual designs into accurate and constructible documentation.
• Collaborate with architects and designers to realize design intent in construction documents.
• Coordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical, and interior consultants.
• Assist in tender packages and contract documentation.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and address technical queries.
• Ensure documentation complies with South African National Building Regulations.
• Manage project drawing files and documentation efficiently.
• Research and propose construction systems and materials for luxury homes.
• Liaise with contractors and site teams to resolve technical issues.
