Job summary

Placements24 seeks an experienced Inter-City Freight Driver to join its transport division across Limpopo and surrounding provinces. You will manage long-haul trips, ensure timeliness and cargo security, and maintain logs and vehicle checks to uphold safety standards.

Successful candidates will have a Code 14 PRDP license, at least four years of long-distance experience, and a proven safety record, with a focus on punctuality and reliability in our northern region operations.

Qualifications

• Valid Code 14 driver's license with PRDP.
• Minimum 4 years of long-distance or inter-city freight experience.
• Proven safe driving record and regulatory compliance.
• Good knowledge of Limpopo routes and nearby provinces.
• Ability to manage fatigue and stay focused on long drives.
• Professional conduct and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial freight vehicle safely over long distances.
• Transport goods between cities and provinces on schedule.
• Perform pre, during, and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain driving logs, fuel records, and delivery docs.
