Job summary

Lexdan Select is seeking a qualified Millwright to lead maintenance across customer sites, ensuring reliable gas equipment operation including compressors and PLC/SCADA systems. You will manage preventative programs, asset inspections, and maintenance reporting, while guiding a team of Technicians and Interns.

The role requires hands-on experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, instrumentation, electrical systems, and strong leadership, communication, and customer-service skills to drive

Qualifications

• Qualified Millwright with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant maintenance and operational experience.
• Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, instrumentation and electrical systems in industrial environments.
• Exposure to PLC troubleshooting, HMI and SCADA platforms, and continuous improvement methods such as Lean/Kaizen.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operations, maintenance, and reliability of customer sites.
• Manage preventative and corrective maintenance programmes, asset inspections, and maintenance reporting.
• Oversee installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of natural gas equipment including compressors, boosters, dispensers, piping, electrical systems, PLCs and SCADA.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, MHI, EIA, and statutory requirements across sites.
• Lead, develop, and manage a team of Technicians and Interns with performance management and KPI achievement.
• Manage spare parts inventory, maintenance budgets, equipment calibration, trailer availability, and efficiency.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders while providing technical support and training.

• Manage preventative and corrective maintenance programmes, asset inspections, emergency repairs, and maintenance reporting to ensure optimal equipment performance and compliance.
• Oversee the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of natural gas equipment, including compressors, boosters, dispensers, piping, electrical systems, PLCs, and SCADA systems.
• Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, Environmental, MHI, EIA, and statutory requirements across company and customer sites.
• Lead, develop, and manage a team of Technicians and Interns, including training, workload allocation, performance management, and KPI achievement.
• Manage spare parts inventory, maintenance budgets, equipment calibration, trailer availability, and operational efficiency across all sites.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders while providing technical support, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements

• Qualified Millwright with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant maintenance and operational experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, instrumentation, electrical systems, and industrial maintenance environments.
• PLC troubleshooting and programming experience, with exposure to automated control systems, HMI, and SCADA platforms.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance, maintenance planning, critical spares management, and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean and Kaizen.
• Experience with natural gas systems, compressors, PRMS equipment, generators, or cryogenic systems is advantageous.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and customer service skills with the ability to lead technical teams.
