Placements24 seeks an experienced Logistics Supervisor to oversee transportation operations in Gauteng, Randburg. Lead drivers and dispatchers, optimize delivery routes, and ensure safe, efficient service to meet customer demand.

You will drive performance, uphold safety standards, and foster a positive team environment within our client’s dynamic supply chain hub. The role requires strong leadership and a solid grasp of logistics tools.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a Logistics Supervisor or similar supervisory role.
Strong understanding of logistics operations, route planning, and fleet management.
Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the logistics and dispatch team.
Develop and implement efficient delivery schedules and route plans for the Gauteng area.
Monitor fleet performance and driver adherence to schedules and company policies.
Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
Address and resolve operational challenges and customer service issues promptly.
Train and mentor team members to enhance performance and skill development.
