Job description

A well-established wholesaler located a few kilometers outside Durbanville is seeking a Logistics Administrator to join their dynamic team.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Manage stock GRV picking slips for invoicing and delivery planning to cold stores or customers.
2. Provide weekly reports on all stock within cold stores and transport usage.
3. Conduct revaluations of all stock.
4. Generate fuel consumption and tonnage reports for EMI trucks.
5. Prepare driver schedules for collections and deliveries between cold stores, customers, and suppliers.
6. Liaise with freight forwarders on export documentation from point of sale to container delivery.
7. Update transport rate sheets and GIT monthly.
8. Reconcile PODs from transporters and coordinate with debtors.
9. Request POS for transport and handle invoice processing.
10. Consolidate stock to optimize pallet usage.

Skills Required :

• Previous experience as a Logistics Administrator, Warehouse Administrator, or similar role.
• Knowledge of logistics software or transport management systems.
• Basic accounting knowledge.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• BSc in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a relevant field.
• Own transport is essential.
