Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics planning or route optimization.
• Proven experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and route planning software.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of logistics operations and delivery dynamics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze transportation data to identify opportunities for route optimization and cost reduction.
• Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly delivery schedules and routes for the fleet.
• Use route planning software to design efficient delivery sequences considering traffic, windows, and capacity.
• Monitor driver performance and delivery progress in real-time and adjust routes as needed.
• Collaborate with fleet managers and drivers to gather feedback and improve route planning strategies.
• Analyze delivery performance metrics and report on on-time delivery and mileage efficiency.
• Identify bottlenecks and develop solutions to improve workflow.
• Maintain accurate records of route plans and costs.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies in logistics.
