Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international trading house looking to hire a Logistics / Operations Coordinator to join their team in Johannesburg.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Oversee the full logistics cycle for international and domestic shipments, including booking, documentation, and delivery tracking.
• Act as the main point of contact between suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, warehouses, and inspection companies.
• Prepare and review shipping and customs documentation in line with contractual, legal, and internal requirements.
• Identify and troubleshoot logistics disruptions, delays, or discrepancies to minimise impact on delivery schedules.
• Track logistics costs, optimise transport routes, and contribute to cost-saving initiatives while maintaining service standards.

Key Qualifications / Experience

• 4+ years of experience in logistics coordination, preferably within commodities, metals, or international trade.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Familiarity with Incoterms, letters of credit, bills of lading, and customs regulations.
