Overview

Must have experience in logistics between Zimbabwe and South Africa, including cross-border procedures. The role involves managing our trucking company, which operates daily trips between Zim and SA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement logistics strategies and processes.
• Manage and monitor warehousing, distribution, transportation, and customer services.
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers.
• Ensure inventory control and accurate record keeping.
• Oversee the selection and management of freight carriers and logistics partners.
• Analyse logistical problems and produce new solutions.
• Maintain performance metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements.
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international laws and regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Knowledge of logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS, TMS).
• Proven track record of managing logistics operations and teams.
