Job Description

• Oversee and manage the company's logistics and supply chain operations.
• Coordinate transport, warehousing, and export activities to ensure the timely movement of goods.
• Liaise with shipping lines, clearing agents, transport providers, suppliers, and customers.
• Monitor inventory levels, delivery schedules, and logistics costs to improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with export regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Resolve logistics issues and implement process improvements to optimise supply chain performance.
• Prepare logistics reports and support operational planning and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a logistics or supply chain management role.
• Experience within the agricultural, export, manufacturing, or FMCG industry will be advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of logistics, freight forwarding, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/logistics management systems.
• Excellent planning, organisational, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with good commercial awareness.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, service providers, and internal stakeholders.
• Results-driven with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
