A pioneering and exciting fashion company is looking for an experienced logistics manager with retail industry exposure to join their team at the warehouse in Cape Town.

Position Details:
  • Salary: R20,000 - R30,000 per month
  • Type: Permanent, Full-time onsite
  • Location: Milnerton, Cape Town
  • Start Date: ASAP
About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee supply chain operations, ensuring seamless stock management, warehousing, and distribution. This role is crucial in maintaining efficient logistics and ensuring our retail outlets are well-stocked and organized.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and oversee warehouse operations, including stock control, replenishment, and stock-taking.
  2. Plan routes, manage orders, and control stock and warehouse activities.
  3. Ensure smooth movement of goods from suppliers to warehouses and retail locations.
  4. Develop strategies to optimize stock management and reduce waste.
  5. Supervise a small team to maintain inventory accuracy and timely replenishment.
  6. Manage relationships with suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers.
  7. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  8. Manage distribution staff.
  9. Attend meetings at customer sites as required.
  10. Analyze logistics data to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in retail logistics, including warehouse operations and inventory control.
  • Strong knowledge of stock control, replenishment, and stock-taking processes.
  • Experience with logistics software and inventory management systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
