Qualifications

• Two years freight forwarding industry preferable.
• 5 years accounting experience in a similar transformation and compliance role.
• Capability of travelling outside of country when needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a finance transformation strategy for the logistics division.
• Lead teams in designing and implementing processes to streamline financial operations.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication throughout the process.
• Monitor and report on the status of finance transformation initiatives.

Skills

Advance Excel skills

Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices

Proficiency in accounting software

Training experience on an ERP system

Ability to become Wisetech C1 certified (CCC)

Excellent communication skills in English

Education

CA (SA) or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
