Job description

Our client is looking for an energetic and hands-on FMCG Supply Chain & Logistics Process Optimisation Officer with a proven track record of driving logistics performance through innovation, optimization, and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate is not just a logistics expert—but a forward-thinking, proactive, problem solver with the drive and capability to lead transformational projects across our supply chain operations.

Requirements:

  • Industrial Engineering Degree / Warehouse Process Engineer
  • 3 years in logistics or supply chain management roles, with direct involvement in warehousing, distribution (Inbound and Outbound), and transportation.
  • Familiarity with WMS, TMS, and SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Experience managing cross-functional logistics projects from planning through execution (e.g., transport network studies, 3PL transitions, automation initiatives)
  • Highly competent in using tools like Advanced Excel, Power BI, or Tableau for reporting and KPI tracking.
  • Highly analytical and systems driven
  • Only apply if currently working in FMCG Logistics
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean, or Kaizen methodologies

Responsibilities:

  • Logistics Process Innovation: Recommend and implement improvements that reduce lead time, increase service levels, and drive cost efficiencies.
  • Digital Transformation Support: Partner with IT and operations to implement new technologies or upgrade logistics systems
  • Warehouse Optimization: Lead initiatives to improve space utilization, picking efficiency, and stock accuracy
  • Transport Network Analysis: Evaluate routing, carrier performance, and delivery costs to identify cost-effective and reliable solutions.
