Logistics Coordinator

Logistics Coordinator required in Riebeeck West.

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team at the Riebeek West Nursery.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of seedling delivery, fleet and packing operations, and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan and execute weekly seedling deliveries.
2. Prepare seedlings for transport and delivery.
3. Manage packing materials and stock levels.
4. Plan and implement backloads efficiently.
5. Assist in fleet management and logistics.
6. Lead, manage, and support the packing team.
7. Manage and coordinate the drivers’ team.
8. Perform various ad hoc logistics and operational tasks.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience in logistics or fleet coordination is an advantage.
2. Strong computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
3. Fluent in both English and Afrikaans (written and spoken).
4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to delegate and follow up.
5. Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport.
