Data capturing, invoicing, and scanning PODs to the customer.
Responsibilities include:
- Communication, tracking, and liaising with customers.
- Tying up PODs to the invoices and closing off ship files.
- Processing orders.
- Uploading invoices, claims, and weekly statements.
- Uploading customers on the system.
- Preparing documentation for exports (e.g., letters of confirmation to clients, export waybills, typing of marine insurance certificates).
- Filing, emailing, faxing, photocopying, and all other duties relating to sales and inbound and outbound traffic.
Qualifications
- Matric Certificate.
- Maritime certifications are a strong advantage.
- Very proficient in MS Word and Excel.
- 1-2 years of invoicing and accounting experience.
- Previous work in the logistics industry would be advantageous.
- Admin orientated.
- Must be good with numbers and a fast learner.
- Team player.
- Attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
