Job Title : Logistics and Operations Administrator Location : CenturionRemuneration : R16 to R18 per monthOur client, a promotional products supplier, is looking to employ a Logistics and Operations Administrator to join their team in Centurion.
Will be required to have a Valid Driver's License and have their own reliable transport.
Key Purpose of The Job : We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Logistics and Operations Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative support to our team.
The ideal candidate will be a vital link in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Logistics and Warehouse department, handling a variety of tasks from managing communications to supporting project coordination and overseeing key logistical and quality control functions.
Qualification, knowledge, and experience requirements :
Matric with Diploma or Degree in Business Management, or Supply Chain Management
Experience in the corporate gifting, promotional products, or branding industry is advantageous.
Duties and Responsibilities : Logistics & General Administration
Manage all courier activities, including bookings, document origination, and supplier reconciliations.
Oversee supplier job card and delivery document origination and printing.
Maintain digital and physical filing systems, ensuring all documentation (e.g., signed delivery notes, rejects register, sample return log) is accurately recorded and accessible.
Manage office supplies, equipment maintenance, and general office upkeep.
Support logistics with driver logs and trip sheet origination.
Inventory & Project Support
Maintain adequate stock levels for warehouse supplies and materials, coordinating orders as needed.
Update and manage the Logistics and Operations project schedule and calendar.
Handle Sales Order and Job Card document printing based on daily planning.
Assist with project tracking and resource booking for finishing.
Finishing Department Oversight
Compile and brief the Finishing team on production requirements and documentation.
Conduct quality control checks and troubleshooting for all finishing projects, ensuring compliance with SOPs, operational efficiency, and accuracy.
Oversee packing according to distribution lists and delivery instructions.
Manage finishing room stock control and housekeeping, ensuring effective communication and integration with the warehouse team.
Manage petty cash and process temp worker timesheets and wages.
Handle general administrative duties, including sending POD documentation and statements to clients.
Act as the Health & Safety Custodian.
Source quotes for office-related projects and assist with staff claim form consolidation.
Communication & Data Management
Draft, proofread, and format various documents (letters, emails, presentations, reports).
Manage general email inquiries and liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Maintain and update customer and supplier databases, assisting with data entry and basic report generation.
