Job Responsibilities
  1. Serve as the primary liaison between the Distribution Centre (DC) and stores, ensuring prompt resolution of inquiries and requests in accordance with company's SOPs.
  2. Uphold Pedros People values and leadership principles, ensuring integration across the business and with new hires.
  3. Timely collection of invoices from the Accounts Department.
  4. Reconcile printed invoices against delivery schedules and B2B lists for Finance.
  5. Manage Nightshift operations, batch pick slips, and verify accuracy.
  6. Facilitate trip planning, create trip sheets, allocate seals, batch driver packs, and deconstruct invoice packs meticulously.
  7. Check for stamps, signatures, lug information, verify trip sheets, and reconcile previous day's invoices with the Invoice Handover Sheet.
  8. Capture customer orders/B2Bs on the sales order report and ensure timely submission.
  9. Monitor Store WhatsApp Groups for DC queries, escalate issues promptly, and provide feedback on Vehicle ETAs and Poultry Claims.
  10. Note and escalate store special requests, monitor seal pictures, and document empty lug counts.
  11. Perform relief supervisory and debrief duties as needed.
  12. Manage data capture responsibilities, including Claim Tracker, Poultry Shortages Document, and related updates.
  13. Handle administrative tasks, create ad-hoc trip sheets, file documents, and assist with non-routine duties.
  14. Ensure effective communication by posting ETAs and notifying customers of delays.
  15. Manage logistics processes, including transportation, shipment tracking, and analysis to improve efficiency.
  16. Coordinate with other departments to support supply chain activities.
  17. Implement and maintain logistics software and systems.
  18. Attend to store queries, schedule trucks for repairs, and monitor trips and drivers.
Requirements
  • Matric; a bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a logistics administrator or similar role within a distribution center.
  • Deep knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes.
  • Proficiency in logistics and inventory management software and MS Office.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
