Job summary

MedE Recruit is seeking an experienced Dentist to join a well-established private dental practice in Strand, Strand, Cape Town on a temporary/locum basis. The role involves providing general dentistry and a broad range of treatments in a private practice setting, with the ability to work independently and manage patients confidently.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with HPCSA and hold a valid licence to practise in South Africa.
• Experience working in a private dental practice is essential.
• Competent in general dentistry and basic restorative procedures.
• Proficient in scaling, polishing, and prosthodontics as needed.
• Ability to work independently and manage patients confidently.

Responsibilities

• Provide general dental consultations and treatments within a private practice.
• Perform basic restorative procedures and scaling/polishing.
• Deliver prosthodontic treatment where required and perform extractions.
• Conduct examinations, treatment planning, and patient consultations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and provide oral health guidance.
• Ensure high standards of clinical care and patient service.
