Job summary

MedE Recruit is partnering with a well-established dental practice in Burgersfort, Limpopo, to recruit an HPCSA Registered Dental Therapist. The role focuses on preventative dentistry, patient education, and restorative care within a supportive private-practice environment.

Ideal start date is 2 August 2026. The candidate should hold a BDT, be HPCSA-registered, and bring at least 3 years of private practice experience. DUT qualification and GoodX experience are advantageous.

Qualifications

• BDT degree required.
• HPCSA registration mandatory.
• Minimum of 3 years private practice experience.
• Experience with GoodX a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive oral examinations and patient assessments.
• Provide preventative dental care and oral health education.
• Restore teeth using appropriate restorative techniques.
• Diagnose and develop treatment plans within the scope of practice.
• Promote excellent oral hygiene and preventative care.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the practice management system.
• Work collaboratively with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
• Ensure compliance with HPCSA regulations and infection control protocols.
