Local Growth Manager (Africa)

Responsibilities

• Set-up, sustain and manage the Africa P2P business, P2P local operations, product localisation and facilitate on regulatory matters
• Collect local users, communities feedbacks and competitors' insights to optimize our service offering
• Explore collaboration opportunities with local P2P partners, blockchain/crypto communities, associations to expand P2P awareness in the Africa market
• Explore more P2P related partnerships
• Design and implement go-to-market strategies to boost P2P volume growth, facilitate content building and promotion strategies
• Maintain strong relationships with regulators, banks, and payment partners
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current regulations to provide strategic advice

Requirements

• 5+ years of proven success in a similar role within BD or Business Growth role at a blockchain/crypto company, financial institution, or bank in Africa
• Deep understanding of local communities and the crypto space in Africa
• Bilingual in English & Niger-Congo is required to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders
