Job description

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Indian Cuisine Cook to join our guest house in Centurion, Pretoria on a 3 to 6 month live-in contract.

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for preparing all Indian meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—for guests and clients, while also ensuring high standards of hospitality and customer care.

Daily lunch meals must be prepared and sent out to clients punctually every afternoon.

Key Responsibilities : Prepare and cook any Indian dish (vegetarian and non-vegetarian), including regional and traditional varieties.Manage daily meal service for in-house guests : breakfast, lunch, and dinner.Package and dispatch lunch meals to clients on time every afternoon.Plan menus, manage kitchen supplies, and maintain ingredient inventory.Keep the kitchen clean, safe, and hygienic at all times.Ensure guests and clients are well taken care of, offering friendly and attentive service.Accommodate special dietary needs and custom meal requests when required.

Requirements : Proven experience as a Cook or Chef specializing in Indian cuisine.Must be able to prepare a full range of Indian dishes confidently and independently.Willingness and ability to live on-site in Centurion for the full contract period.Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellent customer service.Punctual, reliable, and well-organized with good time management skills.Basic knowledge of food hygiene and health safety standards.Experience in a guest house, lodge, or hospitality environment is advantageous.
