Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a diligent Paralegal to join its litigation team in Queenstown. You will support attorneys throughout the litigation process, from case inception through to trial and resolution.

The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of paralegal experience, a certificate or equivalent training, strong research skills, and excellent written and verbal communication, with meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate or equivalent legal training/experience.
• Minimum of 4 years' paralegal experience focused on litigation.
• Strong research skills and familiarity with case management software.
• Attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in trials, hearings, and depositions.
• Conduct legal research using databases and resources.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other documents.
• Manage case files and document repositories.
• Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
• Track deadlines and manage discovery timelines.
