We are seeking a skilled Litho-Offset Press Operator to join our production team.

The Litho-Offset Press Operator is a key member of the team, responsible for manufacturing printed labels while monitoring quality and press conditions.

The Role

In this role, you will:

• Operate our Litho-Offset press safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to all safety rules, procedures, and guidelines.
• Report safety concerns to your supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform Make-ready procedures as per Job Ticket and Product Specifications.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure product specifications are met.
• Produce high-quality products according to customer requirements, managing waste and efficiency.
• Monitor quality throughout production, including copy, colour, registration, and ink adhesion.
• Complete all procedures, work instructions, and quality measurements per standards.
• Efficiently complete press changeovers.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance.
• Clean and lubricate press components.
• Accurately input data into the DCU system.
• Set up and maintain the label inspection system.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• Qualified Litho-Offset Press Minder.
• Minimum 5 years of print production experience.
• Motivated, goal-oriented, with a good attendance record.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in computer literacy.
• Team-focused with problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and quality conscious.
