We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Linux Administrator to be the architect of our robust Linux-based infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:

• Guardian of Linux Infrastructure: Command the configuration, management, and troubleshooting of our enterprise Linux systems, including RHEL and Oracle Linux.
• Automate complex operations and mundane tasks with the finesse of a master scripter, leveraging Bash, Python, and Perl.
• Act as the vigilant sentinel, monitoring system performance, uptime, and capacity to guarantee continuous availability and scalability.
• Fortifier of Cyber Defenses: Architect and enforce pivotal security policies and practices, including meticulous patch management and proactive vulnerability assessments.
• Deploy and manage critical security controls like advanced firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and SELinux.
• Lead the charge in regular security audits and comprehensive risk assessments, neutralizing threats before they strike.
• Serve as the first responder and lead investigator for security incidents, ensuring rapid and decisive remediation.
• Architect of Seamless Application Delivery: Orchestrate the configuration and management of solutions that optimize load balancing and application delivery, ensuring high availability and peak performance.
• Champion the integrity of our digital handshake by maintaining and troubleshooting SSL/TLS certificates and enforcing stringent encryption policies.
• Deploy and manage sophisticated web application firewall (WAF) policies, standing as the final shield for our applications.
• Catalyst for Collaboration & Growth: Integrate seamlessly with our DevOps, network, and security teams, forging a unified front for infrastructure and application security.
• Elevate our collective expertise by providing mentorship to junior team members and serving as a trusted technical escalation point.

Your Arsenal of Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent real-world experience that speaks volumes).
• A battle-tested 7+ years of hands-on experience as a Linux Administrator, especially within demanding enterprise landscapes.
• Profound, unshakeable knowledge of cybersecurity principles, industry frameworks (like NIST, ISO 27001), and best practices.
• Unrivaled proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting essential networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP/HTTPS.
