Lighting Sales Representative job vacancy in Durban North.

Our National Client, a leader in the lighting sector based in Durban North, requires a quality individual to improve and grow client relationships.

Essential to have your own transport; travel expenses are covered. Bilingual in English and Afrikaans.

Salary: Basic R12 000 – R15 000 plus commission.

Requirements:

  • Matric.
  • Own Transport.
  • Driver's license, administration experience with processes and procedures.
  • Proven sales track record.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and face-to-face.
  • Ability to close sales successfully.
  • Target-driven and solution-oriented.
  • Independent worker that takes personal responsibility for their work portfolio.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set up meetings with clients who contact us via inbound leads.
  • Call on existing clients and set up meetings with new clients.
  • Answer incoming queries on product offerings.
  • Daily update of CRM system.
  • Meet a target of 20 new business meetings per month.
  • Bring in new business and grow existing client base and network.
  • Source new leads and increase new business.
  • Work out quotes and send proposals to clients timeously.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction with after-sales service.
  • Mine business from the company's existing clientele.
  • Understand company product offerings.
  • Consult with architects, builders, electricians, and engineers to advise on products, services, and solutions.
  • Maintain a good understanding of the market: competitor offerings, general intelligence, and identifying new opportunities.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and annual targets.
  • Maintain open communication with other relevant departments.
  • Abide by the company disciplinary code.
