Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Light Operator & Lighting Designer for the Billionaire Dinner Show at Grand Hotel des Bains Kempinski in St. Moritz. This seasonal role is ideal for professionals with experience in theatrical or immersive entertainment lighting design.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years experience in lighting design or operation, preferably in theatre, cabaret, entertainment parks, or immersive dining environments.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creative lighting design.
  • Proficiency with lighting control systems such as GrandMA, Chamsys, Avolites, etc.
  • Advanced skills in Resolume Arena, including video playback and projection mapping.
  • Solid understanding of lighting theory, color, and atmosphere in live performances.
  • Experience with video editing software like Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and live cue-based systems.
  • Knowledge of theatrical rigging and safety practices.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends, and to respond to show-specific call-ins.
Main Responsibilities
  • Design and operate lighting for a multisensory dinner show, enhancing theatrical and entertainment elements.
  • Coordinate with creative directors and performers to ensure seamless visual production.
  • Manage video content and projection mapping using Resolume Arena.
  • Operate lighting consoles during live performances for precision and responsiveness.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot lighting equipment, and assist with system updates.
  • Participate in rehearsals and cue-to-cue sessions to refine timing and creative cohesion.
