Job description

We are looking for a professional, motivated, and committed Arabic-speaking Lifestyle Manager in the area of Luxury Lifestyle Management.

You will use your knowledge, contacts, and expertise to handle interesting and often complex requests. Based in South Africa, you will primarily deal with areas such as Travel, Retail, and Entertainment, including restaurants and ticketing knowledge in the Middle East market. Your role is to help our members maximize their experiences while enhancing knowledge within your team and across the company. You will utilize your research and communication skills to provide personalized solutions to our members' requests within specified timeframes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage requests according to deadlines, offering excellent restaurant options, and fully engaging with members to maximize booking conversions.
  2. Promote the wider Ten business to members and suggest or take briefs for other teams (e.g., tickets, travel, motor, home improvement).
  3. Maintain your homepage, ensuring tasks are completed on time and priorities are clear in your absence.
  4. Assist Team Leaders and Customer Satisfaction teams in resolving customer care issues related to your completed jobs, leveraging personal contacts with key restaurant staff where possible.
  5. Confidently negotiate benefits with suppliers (restaurants, transfers) to secure bookings when members cannot do so themselves.
  6. Gather and relay member feedback to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat use of the service.
  7. Maintain high standards of service and communication throughout the member request journey.
  8. Keep administrative and research data up-to-date in the in-house knowledge system with 100% accuracy to ensure clarity and minimize errors.
  9. Ensure requests that could generate commissions are capitalized on and invoiced accurately.
  10. Provide members with confidence that if their first option cannot be secured, the LM offers the next best alternative.
Requirements

Education/Experience:

  • Fluency in English and Arabic is mandatory; excellent written and oral communication skills are essential. Fluency in additional languages, especially French, is a plus but not required. Be prepared to undertake language testing.
  • Local knowledge of news, events, culture in the Middle East (primarily Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha) and key Asian markets is highly preferred. Experience in the travel sector, such as booking flights and hotels, is advantageous.
  • Experience in leisure, hospitality, customer service, concierge, or call center environments.
  • Understanding of the luxury lifestyle and affluent customer base.
  • Exceptional verbal and interpersonal skills, maintaining professionalism and calmness.
  • High attention to detail, reactive problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Strong online research skills, a positive 'Can-Do' attitude, and passion for customer service and local tips.
  • Strong work ethics and full-time availability.
  • Only Arabic-speaking candidates currently based in South Africa will be considered.
Shift Patterns

Rotational shifts, 5 days a week (e.g., Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday), 9 hours including a 1-hour lunch break. Hours to be discussed during the interview.

  • Hybrid working arrangement up to 60% home office if living within commuting distance of the office.
  • A secure home office environment free from distractions.
  • Minimum internet speed requirements must be met.
