Job description

Non-negotiable qualifications and experience required:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Naval Engineering or a related discipline.
  2. Strong experience in lifecycle management of naval systems.
  3. Location Requirement: Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
  4. Proficiency in both written and spoken communication.

  2. Proficient in lifecycle management software and tools.
  3. Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Duties and responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the entire lifecycle of naval ship systems from concept to decommissioning.
  2. Develop and manage the integration of design, construction, and operational phases.
  3. Lead the team in ensuring the systems meet regulatory and performance standards.
  4. Create lifecycle management strategies for system upgrades and repairs.
  5. Provide technical leadership and guidance on long-term ship architecture solutions.
